Tolga oversees the telecommunications and digital regulations side of IDC’s syndicated research, custom consulting, and advisory services in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region. His areas of expertise include Digital regulations, telecom wholesale, and IoT services.

Tolga has 22 years of experience in a range of roles in the ICT ecosystem in the Middle East. Prior to joining IDC, Tolga worked as a business development manager in STC’s IoT department for real estate developers and facility operators. Tolga worked for a decade for Turkey’s Information and Communication Technologies Authority, where he oversaw regulatory areas including licensing, wholesale access, interconnection, dispute resolution, number portability, next-generation networks, and ICT indicators.

Tolga earned a master’s degree in telecommunications management from Coventry University in the U.K. and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Middle East Technical University in Turkiye. He frequently addresses industry conferences and provides analysis for media outlets.
