Richard Petrie
Richard is currently working at LINX, the London Internet Exchange and have been over the past ten years, in the role of Chief Technical Officer. As well as since 2019, he has been promoted to executive director for the LINX board.
Prior to working at LINX Richard has held network operations, design and architecture roles with telecoms, large multi-national enterprises, as well as financial services businesses. In addition to these work experience, Richard has been working with many from the Internet community on the peering needs of the wider Internet community and supporting service providers and enterprise networks. Richard contributes to the route server support foundation (RSSF) in steering committee role for the OpenBGP route server development, driving the open peering standard under IX-API, and as a board member to the global peering forum (GPF)
