Chiara Ferraro is Director of SMS Sales & Strategic Partnerships at IDT Global, where she leads the growth and strategic direction of the company’s SMS business.

With more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, Chiara began her career in the calling card market before moving into international voice. Her background includes several years at one of Europe’s largest mobile network operators, where she played a key role in building and scaling international wholesale operations and leading high-performing commercial teams.

In her current role, Chiara oversees SMS sales and strategic partnerships, working closely with operators, aggregators, and enterprise partners to navigate evolving market dynamics, combat fraud, and unlock new growth opportunities in messaging.

Chiara holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in International Relations and brings a commercially driven, partnership-led perspective to discussions around the future of SMS and emerging disruption in the space.
