Alaa Talaat is an accomplished business leader with over 27 years of experience driving growth, innovation, and strategic transformation in the global telecommunications industry. With extensive expertise across MENA, Africa, and Asia, he has been instrumental in developing and delivering large-scale connectivity and submarine cable infrastructure solutions that shape regional and international digital ecosystems. Currently serving as Regional Head for the Middle East, Africa, and India at Türk Telekom International (TTI). Before joining TTI, Alaa held senior leadership roles at Arab Submarine Cable Company (ASCC), where he served as Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer. Earlier in his career, Alaa spent over six years with FLAG Telecom (now Global Cloud Xchange), where he received multiple global awards for his exceptional commercial achievements, including three consecutive “Worldwide Person of the Year” recognitions for driving exponential market growth and revenue performance.
